We are wearing blue tomorrow to honor our friend Brock in support of childhood cancer prevention.
Second grade earned an extra recess tomorrow morning with Joe Roughneck for winning the canned food drive competition! Please remind your child to bring their jacket.
We have been learning all about cranberries, their life cycle, how they are harvested, and how the Pilgrims used them. Today we experimented with fresh and dried cranberries. We opened them up to see the 4 air pockets, watched them float, and also watched the dried cranberries “dance.” We also tasted them and discovered that we like the dried cranberries much more than the fresh cranberries!
Don’t forget to turn your clocks back this weekend, and enjoy an extra hour of sleep!
