We have been learning all about cranberries, their life cycle, how they are harvested, and how the Pilgrims used them. Today we experimented with fresh and dried cranberries. We opened them up to see the 4 air pockets, watched them float, and also watched the dried cranberries “dance.” We also tasted them and discovered that we like the dried cranberries much more than the fresh cranberries!

Don’t forget to turn your clocks back this weekend, and enjoy an extra hour of sleep!

We started the morning watching the Kindergarten costume parade. We also made our Jack-o-Lantern explode, and enjoyed a treat of Mad Scientist Potion and air popped popcorn. Happy Halloween!

Our class visited the Library this morning and earned a treehouse reading reward!

Tomorrow is Pajama Day. Students can wear dress code appropriate pajamas if they would like. Please have your child wear normal footwear. They can bring slippers to wear in the classroom if they would like.
