This note is coming home today.  Picture Day will be tomorrow.  You will have the opportunity to see your child’s pictures before you buy them.  Use the form to select which background you would like on your child’s picture.

All t-shirt orders are due by this Friday.

Our class is in the process of writing a class book.  Each child will have a story and illustration page in this book.  We are working hard to get it ready to be mailed to the publisher by the end of this week.  Our class will get a few copies to keep in the room, and you can also order a copy for your child if you would like.  The order form went home last week.  I will send all orders when I mail our writing.  Please let me know if you have any questions.  We are excited to become published authors!

We have been learning all about penguins and their unique characteristics.  Today we did an experiment to demonstrate how blubber works and why it is an important for penguin survival.
