We have been recording information about what conditions cause fruit to ripen more quickly.  We used 5 avocados and placed them in various places with other fruits.  We learned that when fruits ripen, they give off ethelyne gas that causes fruits and vegetables around them to ripen more quickly.   

After our avocados ripened, we used them to make guacamole.  We graphed our opinions.  Most of us liked it….a few did not.
Next week we will begin growing & observing our avocado pits.
